On Friday, May 29, Seneca High School's Psychology club hosted their inaugural Glow Run. The run was based off of the theme of “Shine a Light in the Dark” to emulate the importance of happiness and properly dealing with mental illness. They raised over $1500 for a local chapter of NAMI FACE.
Seneca’s Latin students sat for the National Latin Exam. They were joined by over 140,000 students from all 50 states and 17 foreign countries including Australia, China, Japan, Oman, Croatia, and Zimbabwe.
Lenape High School we will be offering Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 readiness classes for those students who want to practice those skills needed for those courses. The courses will be in the summer. In addition, the District will be running courses for SAT Prep, College Essay Writing and PARCC Writing.
Seneca High School student and Air Force JROTC Cadet Geoffrey D. Lake was awarded the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Silver Valor Award for heroism in the performance of valor as a member of the NJ-20101 JROTC Corps at Seneca high school Tabernacle, New Jersey.
Several of Seneca's DECA members attended an International Career Development Conference.
